Limited pay and display parking is available in the streets surrounding the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and the Royal Botanic Gardens.
The closest undercover car park is at Arts Centre Melbourne. The entrance is located at the corner of Sturt and Kavanagh Streets, Southbank. From here, the Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a 10 minute walk or short tram ride.
All areas feature one chair per guest, this includes the balcony, tables and decks.

We encourage you to arrive early and reduce the number of items you bring into the venue. It is a condition of entry that all patrons comply with an ID check and search of bags or belongings if requested before entering the venue. Prohibited items will not be allowed inside the venue.
For the protection and safety of all patrons the Sidney Myer Music Bowl is under 24-hour camera surveillance which will continue during the event. Arts Centre Melbourne reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry for any behaviour or activity that is illegal, poses a safety risk or impacts upon other patrons’ ability to enjoy the event.
The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is an outdoor venue however as a licensed venue a minimum dress code applies. Shirts and shoes are required at all times.
Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a smoke free venue. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) are not permitted within the venue. If you wish to smoke please proceed to the designated smoking area on the side hills.
If you or a friend are feeling unwell, please see First Aid immediately. Mobile crews will be roaming the venue throughout the show.
Live at the Bowl events will go ahead rain, hail or shine. The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is an outdoor amphitheatre. If rain or bad weather occurs, the show will proceed unless it's deemed unsafe to do so.
Umbrellas are allowed into the main lawn area but are required to be closed during the performance so as not to obstruct the view of those behind you. Ponchos will be available for purchase from all bars.
You are welcome to sit, stand or dance within your designated area. For your safety and the safety of others, please remain within your area and maintain a distance of 1.5m from other groups.
For those on stalls tables, please dance in the area behind your tables. For those on private lawn deck, please remain on your deck and do not sit, stand or swing on the rails. Dancing on the lawn itself, or at another deck or table, is not permitted.
Tickets must be booked through Ticketek prior to your event. Ticketek are the only authorised seller for Live at the Bowl. No walk-up tickets are available.

Yes. Afterpay is available on all purchases via Ticketek.
Your booking reserves a designated area in the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and must be booked in a single transaction. There are three ticket categories for Live at the Bowl:
Private decks are available for groups of up to four and six guests.
Stalls tables are available for groups of up to two and four guests.
Balcony seats are available for one to two guests.
You are welcome to reserve a private deck or stalls table for fewer than four or six guests. However, you must purchase and receive all tickets for that space.
For example, if you have five people in your group, you are welcome to reserve a lawn deck for up to six, but you will receive all six tickets for the deck.
Yes. All private decks, stalls tables and balcony seats are a minimum of 1.5 metres apart from other groups.
Due to safety restrictions, we are unable to provide pass outs. You will be unable to re-enter once you have left the venue.
COVIDSafety & Wellbeing
A range of safety and hygiene measures are in place to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
The capacity of Sidney Myer Music Bowl has been reduced to 25%. A maximum of 3,000 guests can attend any one Live at the Bowl event. All guests must adhere to the most current health advice from the Victorian Government.
Regularly cleaning and sanitising of the venue and publicly accessible areas with approved disinfectant products throughout the day.
Physical distancing and signage
You must stay in your designated area for the duration of your event, except to collect food and drinks or use the facilities.
It is vital to stay at least 1.5 metres from others when moving around the venue.
Signage around the venue will help you maintain physical distancing, including in high traffic areas where queues may form.
Entries and exits will be one-way only and marked with signage.
Hand sanitisers are available upon entry and stationed around the venue.
Hand wash will be regularly restocked in all bathrooms.
Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a cashless venue. All points of payment in all areas accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments.
In line with current advice from the Victorian Government, you must carry a mask with you at all times.
Masks must be worn when visiting the toilets and when in spaces where physical distancing is not possible.
You are not required to wear a mask in your designated area.
QR code registration via a mobile phone is required for all guests on arrival.
For patrons who do not have a smartphone, or whose mobile device is not QR code compatible, we have iPads on site that allow customers to register their details for contact tracing.
In line with our standard conditions of entry, we will implement additional health and safety measures to ensure your safety and wellbeing. Please note that these additional conditions of entry apply to everyone attending the Sidney Myer Music Bowl and are subject to change without notice.
If you have the following symptoms, however mild, you must not enter our site: fever, chills or sweats, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, runny nose, and loss of sense of smell or taste. Please get tested and quarantine at home until you receive your test results.

Security cameras are operating on the premises and you acknowledge that you may be filmed. You consent to and authorise us to film, record or photograph you, and to reproduce recordings in any audio, video or photographic display or other transmission, exhibition, publication or reproduction in any medium or context for any purpose without further authorisation by, or compensation or attribution to you. All recordings are our sole property and you release us from liability arising on account of such usage.
We ask that you and each member of your booking party make a reasonable assessment of your health status before attending our venue or the event.
