The closest undercover car park is at Arts Centre Melbourne. The entrance is located at the corner of Sturt and Kavanagh Streets, Southbank. From here, the Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a 10 minute walk or short tram ride.

Yes, all ticketed areas come with one chair per guest. Events with a General Admission section will also offer one chair per guest.

For the protection and safety of all patrons the Sidney Myer Music Bowl is under 24-hour camera surveillance which will continue during the event. Arts Centre Melbourne reserves the right to refuse or revoke entry for any behaviour or activity that is illegal, poses a safety risk or impacts upon other patrons’ ability to enjoy the event.
The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is an outdoor venue however as a licensed venue a minimum dress code applies. Shirts and shoes are required at all times.
Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a smoke free venue. Smoking (including e-cigarettes) are not permitted within the venue. If you wish to smoke please proceed to the designated smoking area on the side hills.

Live at the Bowl events will go ahead rain, hail or shine. The Sidney Myer Music Bowl is an outdoor amphitheatre. If rain or bad weather occurs, the show will proceed unless it's deemed unsafe to do so.
Umbrellas are allowed into the main lawn area but are required to be closed during the performance so as not to obstruct the view of those behind you. Ponchos will be available for purchase from all bars.
Tickets must be booked through Ticketek prior to your event. Ticketek are the only authorised seller for Live at the Bowl. No walk-up tickets are available.

General Admission tickets are available to be purchased individually.
Private decks are available for groups of up to four and six guests.
Stalls tables are available for groups of up to two and four guests.
Stalls tables General Admission tickets are available to be purchased individually.
Balcony seats are available for one to two guests.
Private Lawn Decks, Stalls Tables and Balcony tickets reserve a designated area for a group of people and must be booked in one transaction. You are welcome to book a group ticket for fewer guests than specified, however you will receive and pay for all seats within the designated area. For example, if you have five people in your group, you are welcome to reserve a lawn deck for up to six, but you will receive all six tickets for the deck.

Following the most recent advice from the Department of Health, guests will now able to purchase General Admission tickets to certain events, allowing you to move about the Sidney Myer Music Bowl more freely.
The Lawn and Stalls General Admission tickets may be purchased individually and will allow guests to select their own deck or table and roam about their section of the venue freely.

All private lawn decks, stalls tables and balcony seats are a minimum of 1.5m apart from other groups.
Some events also allow General Admission tickets. This means you can purchase an individual ticket and roam about the General Admission area freely. However, for your safety and the safety of others, we encourage guests to maintain a distance of 1.5m from other groups.

Due to safety restrictions, we are unable to provide pass outs. You will be unable to re-enter once you have left the venue.

A range of safety and hygiene measures are in place to ensure your safety and wellbeing.
The capacity of Sidney Myer Music Bowl has been reduced to 25%. A maximum of 3,000 guests can attend any one Live at the Bowl event. All guests must adhere to the most current health advice from the Victorian Government.
Regularly cleaning and sanitising of the venue and publicly accessible areas with approved disinfectant products throughout the day.
Physical distancing and signage
It is vital to stay at least 1.5 metres from others when moving around the venue.
Signage around the venue will help you maintain physical distancing, including in high traffic areas where queues may form.
Entries and exits will be one-way only and marked with signage.
Hand sanitisers are available upon entry and stationed around the venue.
Hand wash will be regularly restocked in all bathrooms.
Sidney Myer Music Bowl is a cashless venue. All points of payment in all areas accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express payments.
In line with current advice from the Victorian Government, you must carry a mask with you at all times.
Masks must be worn when visiting the toilets and when in spaces where physical distancing is not possible.
You are not required to wear a mask in your designated area.
QR code registration via a mobile device is required for all guests on arrival.
We encourage you to download the Service Victoria app prior to your visit to ensure a faster check-in time.
For patrons who do not have a smartphone, or whose mobile device is not QR code compatible, we have iPads on site that allow customers to register their details for contact tracing.

All recordings are our sole property and you release us from liability arising on account of such usage.
